Which brings us to WHY we do the things we do…

• We are here to help you enjoy this history laden city and your time in our region accompanied by our warmth, attention, and reliability. From the time of booking, either directly with us or through another provider of your choice, we will be available to you as a Concierge during certain hours even before you arrive, and of course most importantly while you are here. Why…because we are all experienced travellers and know how good it feels to be seen and heard especially in a foreign country.   We help with some copy/print needs, reserve or order taxi services, set up private driver connections, connect with tour operators on your behalf if needed etc.  Our guests are often fans of “slow tourism” which promotes finding out more about the place they are visiting and learning about its history and local traditions…leaving eventually enriched with new experiences. 
  
• We have many treasured local connections and share them gladly with you to help make your stay as authentic as possible.  Tour guides, tour recommendations for Florence and this region. Cooking & Art Classes, Painting, Wine tastings and so much more. Catering to the gust with food sensitivities is no problem either as we can tell you exactly which restaurants to seek out for that.
  
• You have our assurance that our service procedures include stringent cleaning and safety practices to support the health and wellness of you and your loved ones.  And the use of disinfectants in our thorough cleaning process when getting our suites ready for each new guest.
• In supporting our goal to be eco-friendly you will find a dispenser in your bathroom versus individual sample products to minimize our environmental footprint. We will also provide you with antibacterial soap by the sink and a nice liquid soap/shampoo mix in the shower. We can also upon request, provide shower caps or slippers.
  
• We try to raise awareness during our check-in regarding waste separation expected by the community 
  
• We encourage most of our guests to take public transportation if possible versus arriving with a vehicle, as parking can be costly in the historic district and curbing CO2 emissions are a nice side effect for these old walls that tell stories of times gone by.
  
• After years of having international guests from all parts of the world, we have seen them enjoy the privacy and peacefulness in the middle of this amazing city that our structure provides.  Away from the hustle and bustle, once entering the building, we protect this feeling of our relaxed atmosphere.     So, we have chosen consciously to NOT have TVs in our suites and ask guests to be mindful of the other guests after 11pm.  (The city of Florence also has a public noise ordinances in that regard.)

As our building is from the 18th century, which you will notice when seeing antique frescoes in the suites and original wooden beam ceilings, we stay in line with the historic originality.  So, to the delight of our guests, we have chosen to have proper keys versus key cards…meaning no swiping or punching #s into a lockbox. You will be received by one of our dedicated team members and will enjoy their personal service until you are checked in completely.
